What's in a name?

Hi Everyone, welcome to Wholehearted Kami.

I thought I should make a post on how this all came about.

This is a space where I will share my thoughts, quotes from people who inspire me and my journey through training as a Counsellor.

I was walking home from work in September, past The Groves on Lodge Lane where my nan grew up thinking about whether I should make a page and if I did what would I call it.

Wholehearted Kami is what popped into my head so here it is.

Kami is a nod to my nan as it was her maiden name and the wholehearted part came from this quote from Brené Brown

"Wholehearted living is about engaging in our lives from a place of worthiness, it means cultivating the courage, compassion, and connection to wake up in the morning and think, No matter what gets done and how much is left undone, I am enough.”
